First pour
The roaster warms up, the first croissants come out and the early cyclists line up for a double espresso.
good morning, neighbour
Hand-roasted beans, pastries out of the oven at 6:30 and a corner table with your name on it. Come in, stay a while.
our little corner
Saint Roast opened in 2016 in an old bicycle shop on Alberta Street. We kept the brick walls and the big front windows, added a Probat roaster in the back and a long oak table for everyone to share.
Our baristas know most regulars by name — and their order. The coffee is roasted every Tuesday in the room behind the counter, so the whole street smells like it.
from first light to last call
The roaster warms up, the first croissants come out and the early cyclists line up for a double espresso.
Eggs on sourdough, ricotta pancakes and the long table full of neighbours catching up.
Laptops come out, the sun hits the back garden and the iced lattes start flowing.
Decaf cortados, the final cardamom bun and a record on the turntable while we close up.
bean to cup
We roast small batches of seasonal coffees from four farms we visit every harvest. Here's how a bean gets from a hillside in Huila to your cup.
milk chocolate · red apple · caramel
peach · jasmine · honey
The kind of place where you come for one coffee and leave three hours later with a new friend.

saturday mornings
Two hours behind the bar with our head barista. Small groups of six, all coffee and pastries included. You'll leave with a bag of beans and a heart (or tulip) you poured yourself.
