How I can help
Choose your situation to see what's involved, how long it takes and what I charge.
Fees
No hourly billing surprises. My fee covers the whole application — preparation, review, submission and every letter from IRCC until a decision. Pay in two or three instalments.
| Application | My fee | Government fee |

All amounts in Canadian dollars. HST applies to legal fees for clients in Canada. Government fees as published by IRCC and subject to change.
Working together
Most clients tell me the hardest part was not knowing what was happening. So you get a shared checklist, a named deadline for every document, and an update every time IRCC moves.
Start with a consultationWe go through your history, I tell you honestly whether you qualify and which route is strongest.
You receive a written fee agreement and a personal document checklist in a secure client portal.
I review every document, draft your letters and forms, and flag anything that could cause a refusal.
You approve the final package before I submit it. I'm the representative on file, so IRCC writes to me.
I handle biometrics, medicals and requests for more information. If it's refused, we look at your options the same week.

About Rania
I arrived in Ottawa from Beirut at 19 with two suitcases and a letter of acceptance. Ten years later I was called to the Ontario bar, and I've practised nothing but immigration law since.
My practice is deliberately small: I take on a limited number of files each month so that I personally prepare every one of them. When you call, you speak to me or to Julien, my law clerk of eight years.
FAQ
Many people apply successfully on their own. A lawyer is worth it when your history is complicated — a previous refusal, a gap in status, a criminal record, or a relationship IRCC might question — or when you simply can't afford a mistake.
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Decisions are made by IRCC officers. What I can promise is an honest assessment before you pay, and a complete, well-argued file.
Yes — about half of my clients are abroad. Consultations are by video and everything else is handled through the secure client portal.
Both can represent you before IRCC. Only a lawyer can represent you in Federal Court if an application is refused and you need a judicial review.
Consultations are usually available within the week. Once you sign the retainer, you receive your document checklist the same day.
Book a consultation
You'll leave the consultation knowing whether you qualify, which programme fits, how long it takes and what it will cost. If you hire me, the consultation fee is credited to your file.
